Leon Haines Band

A great group that was gone too soon. Let's go back to 1980. Leon Haines, one of the personnel of Rainbow formed his own band. Leon Haines Band was the name. This dutch band gained their popularity through 2 classic ballads, I Wanna See You Now and For You To Remember. For jazz lovers, another one song of them, Another Clown was a hit too. Leon Haines Band was a band that combined pop jazzy style with a little bit of rock like Rainbow did. It's really enjoyable, vintage and.... very rare! it's even almost impossible to find infos about them, or the album.

This is the only album of Leon Haines Band, that broke up too soon, only a year after.

LEON HAINES : vocal & guitar
BERT BESSEMS : guitar
FLOOR MINNAERT: piano, synthesizer
CONNY PETERS : tenorsax
PIERRE BECKERS : bass
AB VAN GOOR : drums
